KWL + JCR Wedding Fun (Part 2)

With the Rehearsal Dinner behind us, we fell asleep with thoughts of the Big Wedding Day in our heads!  It was going to be a busy day full of hair, makeup, photo shoots and of course, the big Walk Down the Aisle!!

Bright and early we arrived to the gorgeous and exquisite Thomas Bennet House!  Everything about this location screams Southern!!  It was simply stunning in so many ways!

The morning and early afternoon were filled with primping, primping and more primping!
Dad was the lucky man who got to be the chauffeur of the day for the girls!!

The arrival of the dress... always a moment!!

The flowers were ready and waiting!

And what is not to love about the stunning wedding shoes?!?!?

Soon everyone was dolled up and ready to snap the priceless photos of the day!
Mom looked elegant and classic!

And my little loves looked just as precious as could be in their ivory satin!! Bess and Wylie were completely in awe and speechless as they watched Katherine get dressed and primped up!  In true fashion, Bess' personality was 100% this day!!  She was everyone's best friend and never was without a comment!!  Aside from her very dramatic ballet flat shoe drama, she was the perfect angel!

Wylie just stood back and soaked it all in!!  Always my little observant one!!

Amy was the ultimate bridesmaid dress bow tier!!  Looking smashing while she did it too!!

A little selfie action going on here!!

Just waiting patiently on their next photo shoot!!

Mom and her girls!!  We all enjoyed the primping and pampering!!

Meanwhile in a parlor downstairs, my 2 favorite men were getting dolled up as well!  Looking dapper as usual, they stole my hearts the minute I saw them!

It seemed like such a quick day.  Within moments we went from standing upstairs to loading a bus to enter the chapel awaiting the big walk down the aisle!

The ceremony was perfect!  Bess wasn't crazy about the bag pipes and kept turning around to me asking me when that "man" was going to stop that noise!  Charlie looked like the most handsome little boy I have ever seen!  Wylie was loving the fact that she could people watch and not get fussed at!!

Soon the arches appeared and the official introduction of Mr & Mrs Rutland was proclaimed!!

We all eagerly returned to the chapel to say congratulations to Jeffery and Katherine and snap a few pictures before heading to the par-tay downtown!

In a matter of moments, we were done and loaded onto a trolley to head to the fun!  I hadn't really seen this guy all day!  Finally got to sit next to my love for a bit before the fun began again!

The Reception was M.A.G.N.I.F.I.C.E.N.T. !!!

Pulling up to this was simply stunning!!

And inside the fun awaited!!  Always love a good party and celebrating with dear friends makes a night like this so much fun!!

LOVE A GOOD DANCE PARTY!!!

And clearly Bubba and I thought our dance party needed to continue after all this fun!!  Yes, we believed Taylor Swift when she said "Just Keep Dancing Like We're 22!!"  and indeed try to do just that!!  SO. MUCH. FUN!!

Although I know it isn't true, it felt like we slept for 10 minutes before we were being told to get up and begin the oh-so-fun chore of house cleaning and packing the vehicles in order to leave by 10 am!!  YIKES!!  After struggling for a few minutes, we were up and moving, ready to be productive !!

Our Beach House is such a great house!!  It was sad to have to leave it! How badly we all wished we could have had one last day to recoup from the fun!!

A wedding in the Rutland Family wouldn't be complete without a UHaul!  My parents should buy a part of the company because they love to rent these!!  We walked outside that morning to see the beauty sitting ready to be loaded and packed!!

Things were winding down and it was really all about to be over!

But before, there was the usual...

The boys ... probably talking nonsense...

A few photos of us thanks to Charlie the photographer!!

And safe travel hugs from Dad!

In an attempt to get an adult picture, we enlisted the help of Ella to help snap this family photo.  Needs  a bit of editing but pretty good for the third grader who was given photographic duties!!

And then, it was really over!

We gave each other a few last hugs, loaded up and began the drive back home!!

This wedding weekend was a wonderful time to celebrate not only Jeffery and Katherine but family!  It was so much fun to be together in one location amidst the craziness!  There was never a quiet moment with 6 kids, there was always something to discuss and prepare for, there was always something that made you laugh and there was also a feeling of love!!

I am so thankful for my family and for weekend like this!

And while I can not say enough good things about my family, I also can not say enough WONDERFUL things about our stand in momma this weekend!  Without Marg, we would have been lost souls who never got to attend anything!!  We are so thankful for you Marg!  For the patience, willingness, flexibility and ease you provided our family this weekend!  We love you beyond words girl!!
