KWL + JCR = Wedding Fun! (Part 1)

Not really sure how to sum up how incredible these past few days have been!  Being able to be a part of the wedding festivities for Jeffery and Katherine has been such fun!  It is bittersweet that everything is really over!  From start to finish, this wedding weekend has been incredible and such fun!!

After a 3 hour attempt to get on the road, the Bailey Bunch finally made to I-77 bound for one of our favorite beach houses that has been the house to see so many family memories celebrated for Jeffery!

After 2 movies, lots of LeapPad games, a bag of gummy worms and gummy bears... We Arrived !!

Excitement was in the air!

Thursday night was a night filled with cousins running around, American Girl Dolls getting pampered, lots of hugs and kisses from grandparents and a frozen pizza!!   In preparation for the days ahead, Amy and I tucked in the little loves and prepared for a long night since all 5 of the older cousins were asleep in one room!

To kick off the weekend, the adults found it most fitting to begin our weekend with a special brother toast to Jeffery!
Dad had Jeffery a small momento to help him always remember his wedding anniversary!  After the sweet words of wisdom, we officially began the celebrations of the weekend!

But just when you think you are kid free for the night... a little love finds his way to the lap of his grandmother and you gain a little love for a little while longer!  Clearly he got his way!! And got to sleep with her too!  Lucky duck!

But once Ben Ben was tucked away and we were sure the little loves were sound asleep, this happened... somehow...

Don't Judge... there was also a lot of water involved in between... (For some of us smarter folks)

And whenever things like the above picture happen, then the laughs start to flow, the jokes start rolling and the fun had between siblings and spouses just gets better and better as the night goes on!

But the next day, the girls were up and at them quickly so we were ready for the Bridesmaid's Luncheon!!

Katherine looked absolutely stunning!

It was a delicious brunch and a wonderful way to begin the Rehearsal Dinner Day!

After a quick redressing, we were ready for the church rehearsal and dinner!
The little girls were excited to see the church and ready to practice their parts!
Sadly, Charlie was a sick little boy and spent his practice time sleeping in the car due to a random and unexpected stomach bug!

A sweet family moment was had waiting to enter the sanctuary.  This same room was where Dad and Amy stood as they prepared to enter the chapel and now was the same location we were all standing with Jeffery as he prepared to practice for his big day!

The church rehearsal went seemlessly and soon we were all loaded up ready to head to the Rehearsal Dinner!   Mom has suffered for months over this dinner!  But upon arrival, it was clearly evident her deep thoughts and hard work had payed off!  Everything was INCREDIBLE!!  From start to finish the night could not have been more perfect.  The food, the people, the toasts, the decorations... it was just simply Jeffery in every aspsect of the way!

One of my FAVORITE pictures of the night!

So thankful I got to sit beside this handsome love to enjoy this evening!

As we headed home, we were feeling excited about the events of tomorrow!  The Big Day!!  Jeffery and Kathering were tying the knot and our family could not have been more excited for them!

Tune in tomorrow for Part 2 of the Wedding Festivities that the Rutland Family had the pleasure of experiencing this weekend!
