The End

It is SUPER DUPER hard to believe tomorrow I return to the working world!   It seems like yesterday I was sitting in my classroom having contractions wondering just when I was going to pop!  However, here I sit, Sunday night, preparing to dust off my alarm clock that has been UNPLUGGED for the past 9 weeks!!! 

I have loved every minute of my little “vacation” from reality.  Staying up late, getting to be woken up by Wylie every morning with a kiss, NAP TIME, rocking my sweet newbie anytime I wanted, working out while watching Regis and Kelly… my list could go on and on! 

Thanks to the most wonderful nanny in the world, I never worry about the kids but I know tomorrow I will miss them terribly! 

But there are a few things that even though I won’t be here to witness, I am pretty sure I can guarantee they will happen!

I know at some point, Wylie will be sashaying around this house in her heels with all her purses packed to the gills!  She will be on a mission (probably to Target!) and she will have her baby and stroller with her all the way. 

I know at some point, Charlie will practice all his daddy has been teaching him about baseball.  I can already hear him telling the girls to watch him hit it “way far”. 

Beyond a shadow of a doubt, I know at some point, my fashionista will deck herself out in a pair of rain boots regardless of what attire she has on and if they match!  She will then proceed to her favorite lounging spot outside and eat anything she can get her hands on where she will then be covered and referred to as Bess the Mess or hold on to her baby for dear life so Wylie the Baby Thief doesn’t come and nab her up!

And lastly, I know that at some point the newest kid on the block will flash his most precious smile and make his little baby noises as he kicks his legs over and over!  

 

I know I am not moving to Antarctica and I will be home tomorrow afternoon, but, I have loved every minute of my little “vacation” and can’t wait for my summer break to get here so I can have more fun days with these little loves!
