When the Good Lord created boys, I bet he had a smile on his face! I bet he sat down to do his thinking and giggled a little. It was way back when that he already knew just how much laundry these little men would make their mommas do, how many scrapes their little knees would endure, how many "treasures" their little hands would find and how many times they would melt hearts with their smiles. Yep, the Lord above surely smiled when he made little boys!
Despite the fact that my sweet angelic little boy Charlie is a frequent visitor to the time out corner, I am indescribably in love with him. Even on the toughest of days, when having a boy seems in itself like a full time job, my heart is overcome with thankfulness and happiness.
How could a momma not be proud and smile at these priceless memories!
This is where I caught Charlie watching TV while I was handling Bess tonight. This is my armoire! He was just hanging out in the cabinet!
But Then.... I just fell out laughing because shortly thereafter, this is what I discovered.
He may have been dumping all the shoes into the closet floor but how could I be ill at him when he was standing in his daddy's boots! Oh how we love our Charlie!
