She's All Smiles These Days!

Happy 2 Month Birthday to Baby Bess! (A little belated!) It is so hard to believe time is flying by so quickly! These days our sweet little girl is all smiles and such a little talker! She jabbers on and on about something, especially once Charlie and Wylie go down for the night. We believe she is waiting until that time of day to talk so she has undivided attention on her! She has been introduced to the Bumbo but quickly gets booted out of it because Charlie and Wylie have rediscovered it!

This morning we went for her 2 month check up. I was very anxious to see how much she had grown because she is eating almost every 2 hours during the day but sleeping from 10 - 6:30 so whatever she wants to do in the daytime is fine with me!! I just knew we had hit a growth spurt and boy were we right! Sweet Baby Bess grew 3 inches in length in 1 month! She gained about 2 pounds making her slightly under 13 pounds.

Here was the kicker though. The doctor looked at her feet and commented on how small they were. He said they were considerably smaller for her body based off her other proportions. After I was assured that this was okay and she would just have small feet I had to giggle! Have ya'll seen Bubba's feet? I love them- I do! But bless his heart, they are what his family loving calls "Barney Rubble Feet!" So, despite the fact that throughout all my pregnancies, I have remarked on how our children will not end up with his feet- it appears that ALL 3 of them are going to inherit this trait! Go figure!



Sweet Baby Bess~ we are crazy in love with you! Everyday with you gets better and better! We love you beyond words!
