The month of April means the Easter Bunny is upon us! Just like with Christmas and discussions of Santa , we have had many conversations about the Easter Bunny at our house. I will not lie and say some of these conversations are bribery for good behavior at certain moments!
As I got to thinking about Easter, I thought back to Christmas and how much my crew loved Mr. Jingles, our Elf on a Shelf. They got such excitement each morning hunting for him and loved talking to him throughout the day. So, this weekend, Mr. Whiskers arrived at the Bailey house! Sent all the way from the Easter Bunny himself!
Everyone was so excited to see him! As I introduced Mr. Whiskers to our crew, I reminded him that he was to be watching to see if throughout the day, everyone was being a good boy and girl! As I talked to the stuffed animal, my 3 little loves were right below Mr. Whiskers staring up at him and screaming “I’m a good boy/girl Mr. Whiskers!”
Charlie took no time at all to begin his discussion with Mr. Whiskers!
And then he thought it was only fitting that Mr. Whiskers meet Bunny Foo Foo!
Bess tried with all her might to say she was a good girl but it was a little jumbled you could say! Bless her heart! She has finally gotten out the words “guh guh” which is somewhat of good girl! At least we think! Every time Bess sees Mr. Whiskers she squeals and laughs! I love it!!
Leave it to my little Wylie to be so creative with her introductions for Mr. Whiskers. Instead of boring him with the details of herself, she chose to invite him to “circle time” and read him a book! And let me just say, she was SERIOUS about reading this book!
So until Mr. Whiskers decides to hop on back to his home in the fields, he is here with the Bailey Bunch! Bless his bones!
