And Come See Me Week Arrives!

Oh how the Bailey house loves Come See Me week!  So much to do and why not be a part of it all!! 

The Bailey Bunch kicked off Come See Me Week with Chalk on Main.  A large time had by Wylie and Bess!  Charlie, a little unhappy at the beginning but we managed to convince him chalk coloring was a ton of fun!  (However, his excitement lasted 2.2 seconds!)  Regardless, the girls enjoyed it!  And so did the parentals!

 

Although this momma and daddy enjoyed Chalk on Main, we were really looking forward to Beach Bash.  So the entire Bailey crew headed one street over for  all the fun. 

By the way, I feel the need to take a commercial break here.   Now, as a family of SIX we require 2 strollers.  I just want to say, when you are a family of SIX,  pure strangers come up to you and ask this “Are they all yours?” .  I realize we do require the seas to part as we attempt to walk through a crowd but hello, has no one seen the Duggars?!  Yes, they are mine.  Yes, we know what causes this (since that is the  next question they ask) and yes  we realize the college years are NOT going to be the most financially pleasing years of our lives.  I’m just saying, we aren’t aliens.  We  (okay I ) just like having babies!  But…we did feel quite a few stares from the crowd.  And so, we moved towards the beverage cart!!!!! 

So Beach Bash was conquered by the Bailey Bunch and Baby Taylor!!  No one is looking but we are all in the picture!  Memory captured!

And then there is sweet heart Bess who just wants to show her teeth!  Love it!!!

After all the excitement Friday night, we just couldn’t wait for more fun on Saturday !  Jumpy Jump Day for the kids, Gourmet Gardens for the parentals!!!!! WAHOO!!   

Bess was ALL ABOUT a jump jump!

Charlie and Wylie were ALL ABOUT a helicopter!  Sadly enough, Uncle Kenny was not asked to ride the helicopter like last year!  Oh but his Fatherly Duties were coming later in the day!!!!!

That’s right!  This year Baby Bess and Baby Taylor requested a chaperone on the Preschool Train and Kenny was just the father for the job!  

After the kids had enough fun, it was time for one of Bubba’s favorite Come See Me events!  Gourmet Gardens.  Someone please just give the kid a corndog!  That is all the child wanted!  

The Bailey Bunch feasted on a plate of good ol’ greasy french fries!  Yum!

Charlie got to hug one of his favorite “celebrities”!  Glenda the Frog!

And just when it WASN’T HOT ENOUGH, Bubba saved the day with SHAVED ICE for the fam!!!  WAHOO!!  However, being the OCD mother that I am, the white polo shirt + Charlie + cherry shaved ice did NOT mix, therefore, we ended up looking slightly redneck at this festivity!  But it sure was good!

That was just Friday and Saturday!  The Bailey family has a WHOLE week of fun with Come See Me to get geared up for!
