So with everything going on at lightning speed around here, I realized the other day, I neglected to post a very precious happening from around the Bailey house! Not only was Feb.5th Wylie’s “Ariel Barbie Tutu” party (her words- not mine) but it was also the Annual St. John’s Father Daughter Dance.
This was the first year Wylie and Bubba have attended and being that it was her birthday, she was the only girl that night at the Bailey house to get such a special treat!
So we primped and pampered Wylie and dressed her in her “princess with a prince” dress! There was no way Daddy was going to be able to resist how adorable she was!
When asked where she was going, Wylie would quickly tell you she was going to the restaraunt with Daddy to eat chicken nuggets, french fries and a coke! Then they were going to the dance with Kenny and Baby Taylor! She was so excited about her special date with daddy!
From what I hear, these two had a wonderful time! Wylie was beside herself to get a big girl glass of Coke and have it all to herself- no sharing! And if I know these two… I am sure Daddy was a good date and treated her like a princess! !
Sadly, the overly loud music changed Wylie’s attitude about the dance very quickly. She clung to Bubba’s hand the entire time they were there. However, in Bubba’s words, not mine, “I am very glad I took her!”
And just in case anyone has any doubts, this one has her daddy right where she wants him (most of the time!!) ! Hook, Line, and Sinker!
