Educational Entertainment?

Typically at the Bailey house, after all the chores, suppers, baths and reading routines are completed, we normally have about 15 minutes or so of time to fill before sending our little loves off to bed!  Just the other night, I stumbled upon one of the things I am constantly around at school.

Yep, my teacher friends, you probably know that red headed teacher on the screen all too well!  

Magic School Bus!!  Mrs. Frizzle and her gang have captivated my little loves!  

When I say these kids are captivated by this show, I mean it!  Why I really thought they were just watching it but not really understanding some of the science discussed in the show, I over heard Charlie talking the other day about plants and how they can grow in some places but not in others!  And then my personal teacher heart swelled with excitement that he had actually learned a fact from my 15 minute entertainment / quiet moment of the evening!!  

Entranced is what you might call them as they all watch these new found discovery in our den.  

For they get in their places on the couch or chairs and are complete zoned in! 

They might hear you when you give the 5 minute call til bedtime, but then again, you might be out of luck!

And from youngest to oldest, we seem to have found a winner for some Educational Entertainment around this house!  

I will not lie.  Having all 4 still and quiet and calm for a few minutes is nice!  It rarely happens so when it does, I like to relish in it a bit!  

So, until we have lost our interest in this new series, you can certainly count of a few moments of science learning / sanity claiming to be going on around here !
