Our first official day in Disney started off bright and early! Hollywood Studios was the plan! The Bailey Bunch was ready for a full day of Disney action and family fun!
We entered the park with so much excitement! This was Buzz and Woody’s park and Charlie was so excited to meet his favorites!!!
While Buzz and Woody were on our Mission List, so was this top rated show! Complete with splashing water, bubbles floating in the air and Ariel, our crew was enthralled with our first Disney stop!
No matter where you turned in Disney, photo ops were all around! The over zealous and totally pumped papparizzi mommy that I am, could not resist…well, any of them.
We learned a lesson in patience very early! While most lines were not horrible for our Disney experience, there were still little lines. Explaining to a 3 and 4 year old that we have to wait our turn was a discussion we had multiple times while in this magical place!
But finally, our turn arrived and our first character encounter was with Mickey himself!
Thanks to YaYa’s pre-Disney reading, we were all armed with containers of quarters and pennies for the ever necessary and slightly addictive Pressed Penny machines! This turned into a small mission for the adults, we wanted to conquer the Pressed Pennies of Disney and I must say, we came pretty close!
Charlie and Bubs stumbled upon the Toy Story Army Man!
But there were more minutes of waiting as we patiently stood in a very popular line to meet Buzz and Woody! And what better time passer for this momma than to use our line time for a small photo shoot to capture the moments!
Probably the most popular question that our crew encountered were “ Are those quads?” or “How many set of twins do you have?” Or some question of that nature! We soon came to realize Bubba probably looked like he had 2 wives and 5 kids since all the cousins look so similar and were dressed the same! But we got some good giggles from the stares!
I mean how precious are these little head with some big ol’ yellow Disney bows!
Our Buzz and Woody wait had entertainment! Thankfully we had a comedian to help ease the line waiting we experienced!
To Infinity and Beyond!
Could have totally predicted Wylie would be OBSESSED with her autograph book! The child L.O.V.E.S. a notebook of any sort!
Finally a magical moment arrived! Seeing the kids, especially Charlie, meet 2 characters he has adored since the day he met them! It was a precious moment for him and my heart was so full of happiness!
After a quick bite to eat, we headed to meet “Ronnie Car” , more commonly referred to as Lightning McQueen, and Mater. Again this patient crew made use of their line time by entertaining each other!
Silly Cousins!
After a short wait, Charlie met his other favorite character on the planet…”Ronnie Car”!
Mandi and I couldn’t resist trying to be the Pin Up Calendar girls for Lightning McQueen. We were slightly successful until being told to not sit on the cars by the unappreciative of our humor Disney lady!
Our Fast Pass mission earlier in the day had been successful! This crew was so excited about our turn on the Buzz and Woody ride! Not sure if the adults or kids enjoyed this activity more! Personally, I could have done this ride a 100 times! It was so much fun!
With excitement, we got our glasses for the ride and approached our cars!
Ready to shoot we were! Only giggle came from my partner in crime! Bessie Boo loved every minute of this laser game!
With every spin, we were able to see a few of our crew enjoying the game!
And just for future reference, my own personal score! I was pretty impressed with my laser shooting abilities!
I felt great about my score until I saw the high score board and learned Bubs had done just a wee bit better than me!
With visions of Star Wars in their heads, the girls and boys split for a bit to enjoy some gender specific fun!
The girls headed to a show in hopes of seeing one of our favorite princesses!
And I must say, I , along with my sweet little loves, enjoyed every minute of seeing Belle and Beasty dance and sing on stage!
But what would Day #1 of Disney Park fun be without the iconic ice cream treat! This crowd enjoyed some cool treats as we waiting on the daily parade to start!
But despite all the excitement, there were some children getting more and more tired by the minute! Wylie needed a quick 1 minute rest to prepare for the parade!
Thank gracious for RahRah’s sunglasses! They came in very handy on multiple occasions on our trip! Bess is such a fan of her Tinkerbell glasses and was never far from them!
There is not much I can say that expresses how much joy I got from the parades! I am thinking on my list of things I love, parades has now been added! The music, the characters, the smiles, the waves, the kids asking who is next, all of it… I am a total sucker for it!!
Just look at that precious love! She waved at this parade with every ounce of her soul!
The Man of the Parade, Woody, this crowd was ecstatic to see him atop the colorful float!
I was on cloud nine. The kids were become a little fussy. And dinner was in our future. This day was so jam packed with memories, smiles and moments to cherish!
Hold tight, up next, our Chef Mickey’s Experience!
