Every single thing I have heard about Disney lived up to be true! While I remember bits and pieces from my own childhood experience, seeing my own little loves experience the magic and wonder of this enchanting place was priceless!
We began our journey bright and early Thursday Morning! The little loves were easy to pry from their beds and anxious to hit the road!
They were all excited about wearing their new shirts that RahRah had gotten them for their trip! Ya’ll know I am a bit leary of the tacky gear and usually only reserve it for the back yard, however, I felt that out of all times in the lives of my children to allow to wear the tacky shirts, this was the time! So we sported these shirts like Rockstars!
Thanks to Google Maps, we had a fun 8 hours and 13 minutes ahead of us! The car was loaded to the gills with entertainment for the loves!
Number one on Wylie’s list… a rather large collection of coloring books. The child is slightly obsessed! Thank the stars for these, this kept this child entertained a great portion of our ride!
There were a few moments of boredom but thanks to our ol’ trusty camera, we turned those moments into memories!
And what would an 8 hour ride to Disney be without a little fruit basket turnover of passengers. Cousin love was the next form of entertainment for the last leg of our trip!
Finally, we had arrived!
Just a few more minutes to wait before our hotel experience in Disney began!
We quickly headed to our room to regroup and prepare for our first dinner outing in Disney! Patiently we waited on our shuttle as we prepared to find the food!
Downtown Disney was the plan! In our quick visit here, we could already get a small taste of what was waiting for us in the parks the next day!
But the excitement of this magical place was contagious and we had not even left the area before our first purchases were made! Bess was drawn to her Minnie Mouse Princess and Charlie was thrilled to find a Cowboy Mickey! Life for these 2 was perfect!
And as patiently as you can ask 5 small children to wait, we waited to head back to our hotel! Eager to go to bed and prepare for Day #1 of Disney!
Bedtime was tough! So much excitement in these little bones, they could hardly contain themselves!
But finally, they dozed off and were up before you knew it, ready for Day 1 of Disney…Hollywood Studio Day!
