Saturday in Disney was action packed! From sun up to sun down, our crew had a busy, busy day of princesses, rides and parades! I think, in looking back, I could write about 30 posts about this day! The magic and nostalgia of Cinderella’s castle, the happiness my heart felt watching the girls at the Princess Breakfast and the awe of the Light Parade are only highlights to our Saturday in the Happiest Place on Earth!
Bright and early we were dressed and loaded into the car to head to eat breakfast with the Princesses. The chance to eat with Belle, Ariel, Snow White, Aurora and Cinderella was beyond compare! While I realize they talk to each little girl, when it was my babies turn, my heart was smiling along with my face! They were fascinated! It was magical in every sense of the word!
And while Charlie really wasn’t thrilled about the fact that there were princesses in the room, they did an excellent job of trying to include him. Snow White was able to get him to “Whistle While He Worked” but other than that, he was more enthralled in glancing out the window!
After our delicious breakfast, we boarded the monorail and ferry to head to Magic Kingdom and Cinderella’s Castle!
The excitement of the day was only moment away as we entered through the gates !
But finally, our crew was at the end of Main Street and got this first glance of a world famous site!
From this point on, it was Time to Ride for this crew! And boy, did we conquer the rides of Magic Kingdom!
There were a few girly moment while the boys disappeared for the more boy-friendly rides! Bess and Wylie were given a rather large helping of Pixie Dust in their hair! And boy does it take a lot to get Pixie Dust out of hair!
But what is a day in Disney without the Daily Parade! Our crew was a little pooped by this point, so a sit down break was a bit welcomed!
Mary Poppins!! One of our favorites!
Wylie was so obsessed before we left with the Stepmother from Cinderella. Wouldn’t you konw it, guess who stopped right in front of us during the parade!
Not the best pic but Cinderella waved right at our girls!
And Ariel clearly remembered us from that morning!
The afternoon was winding down but we had a few hours to kill before the famous Light Parade that evening!
And what do you do when you need to entertain some 3 and 4 year olds- BUY DISNEY EARS!
After a little stall tactic and a show at the Cinderella Castle, before we knew it, the Light Parade chaos was in full effect! This place is serious about a Light Parade. While I knew it was a Must Do Event, I was not prepared for the entire park to be stationed in seats a good hour before the parade began! All 9 of us crammed into a space really only designed for about 4 people! We were cozy and comfy and we DID NOT step behind the white rope because there was always a Disney employee who caught you doing so! Gracious!
So we waited and stalled 5 little loves!
With the anticipation in the air, we soon began to see the many lights of the infamous parade!
Up first was Tinkerbelle! Bess was over the moon when she waved at her and I was about to squeal from excitement seeing how happy it made her! She still is talking about it!
All in all, the Light Parade was fantastic in every way…just like our day in Magic Kingdom!
