This weekend was quite an exciting one for Charlie! For quite some time now, Charlie has been asking for a “real” big boy bed. Lucky for us, some cousins right down the road, had a set that had been broken in with lots of boy love! So Sunday, while Charlie and I spent the day emptying his room and scrubbing off the hidden artistic marks he had added to the walls, Bubs and Pop Pop headed to Cola to pick up the infamous “big boy bed”!
Within minutes of the bed arriving at the house, Charlie was up on the top! Perched high above to oversee all the hard work going on below him!
This face really, really doesn’t even capture the thrill this child was experiencing at this moment!
Honest! He was just too busy to be bothered by me and my attempts to document the milestones of his life!!
Even Bennie Boo was eager to get on the action- knowing this bottom bunk is his in the near future!
We are so thankful for the new big boy bed! Thank you Nate for passing down this treasure to Charlie! He thinks this bed is the best thing yet!! And the girls are very jealous of his bed! Now the only question Wylie keeps asking is “When do we get our new beds?” !

I wish you could see Nate's face when I read this to him. He was in tears when we moved this bed but he feels much better now knowing that Charlie loves it. It's been Jackson's then Nate's and now it can be Charlie & Ben's. Wish I had another for Wylie & Bess.
