The View From My Bed

These days, when I finally do get to crash and burn from the long day of being a mommy, teacher and of course a rockin’ wife, I glance to my right and this is what I see…

Yes, bathroom redo is in full swing at 709!  After much complaining on both our parts, we decided to bite the bullet and upgrade the master bath we once had into a much more suitable and practical master bath for the year 2012. 

So I began my wish list by asking for a tub that would allow me to be covered from my toes to my nose, while jets of water swirl around me as I gaze into the glow of the fire.  He laughed.

SO… since that dream will have to wait for my future homes, we have decided to create a fantastic shower fit for a queen and king!   It may look like bare bones now but isn’t it going to be lovely?!

And look…right under the heinous mix matched green wall paint will be a potty that is all by itself!  It is the simple things friends!!!! 

But to add to the excitement, when I walked upstairs this afternoon, this is what greeted me!  PROGRESS in a few boxes!!!

Hopefully here soon Bubba and I will be saying Good bye to the wee kiddie bathroom we are currently occupying!  Then it is on to bedroom paint and a few fix ups in there before we reveal the final product!
