Sunday Shoot

Every Sunday, Bubba giggles at me because before we can leave for church I require a photo shoot on the front steps.  One might think- isn’t a Sunday morning hectic enough minus a photo shoot and the answer is YES!  However, these days Charlie has taken fashion upon himself and each day I am graced with a minimum of 5 outfits that he “creates” on his own and insists on wearing. Being in summer mode- I choose not to convince him to change into matching items!  Meanwhile, Bess and Wylie mostly walk about in dress up gear or bathing suits- it is real life- no fashion divas during the week!  So Sundays are so much fun for me because they don’t whine about church clothes!  And gracious, I wouldn’t want to miss a photo opportunity now would I?!  

These days my children like to yell out random food items when the camera is around.  A variety of items – sausage biscuit, macaroni and cheese, Skittles, etc… hence the open mouths in the pics!  I do what I can! 

 

But finally one shot (or a few) comes along! 

 

 

(Seriously… I know I am the only one who laughs at this each time but I can’t get enough of this child “Smiling”!  Love me some Bess “smiles”! )

Just in case anyone is wondering where precious Brother Ben was during all this fun… he had fallen asleep for his morning nap before our “shoot” began!  Don’t worry though… you know I got a picture of him later that day!  Just before bathtime!  How much do I love this smile?

 

The Lord has blessed Bubba and I immensely!  We are so thankful for these little loves , their smiles, giggles and hugs!  We love you very much C,W , B and B! Lots & Lots!
