The Shoe Fairy

I don’t care how many hours I clean, or how wonderfully spotless my house looks, it seems to only last for 2 minutes before my whirlwinds find a way to wreck some part of our humble abode. Which leads me to another unanswered question: Why am I not  a great deal skinnier when all I seem to do is lunges, waist bends or stretches as I clean this dwelling we call home?  The question remains unsolved!

Anyways,  Charlie and Wylie are not at the age where they have simple chores.  They clean up, help at the dinner table and make their beds…simple stuff.  So at least 2 out of 3 are on my page!  But our good friend Bess is a walking hurricane.  A child who makes a mess in every spot she seems to land!

Everyday I dress myself and leave the shoes in my closet in their individual little cubbies.  Because, THAT IS WHERE THEY BELONG!!!! However, every afternoon I am welcomed to a mound of shoes which prevents me from walking into my closet.  So why is there this mound of shoes awaiting me?

My Shoe Fairy!

After pulling out each shoe and analyzing each one…

Bess finds a perfect pair to match her outfit! 100_5657

And just like any girl buying a good pair of shoes, she has to walk around in ONE shoe to make sure it is Just Right !  (Do ya’ll do this?  I so try on one shoe in a store and look at it.  Why- shouldn’t I put on both shoes…for the full effect?!)

You may also notice another one of Bess’ favorites.  These days Bess is obsessed with bibs.  She often walks around adorned with multiple bibs.  She will bring them to you by the handfuls and squeal until you put them around her neck.  We just play along!  At least many of her clothes these days are super clean after a meal, seeing as how it takes a force of nature to pry them off from her neck!

Oh how I love this sweet girl!

Bess has changed so much! I just can't belive it!!! She looks like she's having the time of her life playing dress up. What a cutie!
