I think today was one of those days all mother's of little boys have at some point. To be honest, I have been waiting on this day, wondering when it would happen. Leave it to a bank holiday when it is raining and dear ol' Dad can't go hunting for this pivotal day in the life of our son to occur! Today, my baby turned into a cowboy!
I arrived home from school to find Charlie sound asleep in his boots! Of course! From the moment his feet met the boots today until the time his head hit the pillow, he was a cowboy!
Cowboy Charlie ate a hearty meal of chicken, green beans, peas and carrots...in the boots!
The belly is full so now Cowboy Charlie took a moment to do a quick pose before heading upstairs for a scrubdown!
Cowboy Charlie searched high and low for his cowboy hat. Never fear a bucket works just as well!!
All cowboys need a loyal "horse"! Good thing we had one on standby!
This would be Cowboy Charlie's version of campfire stories!

Well, yeasterday much have been cowboy boot day!Morgan got a pair of cowboy boots too. I don't think she's loving them as much as Charlie. Of course, they are mainly for a costume but I have a feeling she may be breaking them out more.
