A Little Goodbye and A Little Hello

Today is surreal.  Today my little baby boy is leaving his momma for his first ever experience at Camp Cherokee First Timers!  He has never stayed away from home for more than one night with his grandparents and today, he is leaving to spend 3 nights in the woods of Kings Mountain!! I just CAN'T TAKE IT!!!!

He is excited to say the least!  His bags are packed.  His things have been labeled with his name.  He is ready to head to camp.  He is.  I am not ready for him to head to camp!  Yes, I know he will have more fun than I can imagine and I know he will be okay, safe and happy.  But really, he is old enough to go to camp?!?!?!?

I am so thankful he has this opportunity.  I just hope it goes by quickly so I can hug my little toe headed boy anytime I want!!

While Charlie is heading to the mountains, the rest of the crew is heading to the sea and sand!!  Rutland Pawley's Island 2014 is upon us!  The adventures, laughs and memories will be endless.  In the driveway, my car sits ready to go!  Packed to the brim with sand toys, boogie boards, games and suits!

I cherish the family beach weeks were are fortunate enough to spend together!  This year will be just a wonderful as they always are!  I am sure of it!!

So while my family will be split between 3 cities, I pray we are all safe and sound!  I pray that memories are made and smiles are captured!

Here's to a wonderful week in Pawley's!
