GRADUATES!

Dear children, pardon the delay in this post!  One of these days as you read the dates in our blog books you may question the date of this post. Let's just not worry to much about it!  The end of the school year and thoughts of sand and sun had overtaken my brain! However, better late than never!
                                                                                                                      Love,  Your Busy Mommy

In the blink of an eye Kindergarten for the twins seemed to start and end just instantly!!

The very emotional day of walking them down their little hall to meet their teacher is still so vivid in my mind!  The excitement and smiles that beamed from their little faces was heart warming for this sentimental momma who was having a hard time believing it was in fact time for Kindergarten!

I savored every moment I could with my two little scholars!  Beginning with a few photo shoots to document the milestone day!

The seasons changed and so did these little loves!  I have been so thankful for their love for school.  They were both eager to be involved and do their part in their classrooms!  The stories were exciting to hear and watching their faces as they anxiously awaited special treats and days in their classrooms was just as I had hoped it would be!

There were field trips every time we turned around!  Lazy 5 Ranch, fire departments, Mexican eating at restaurants to practice their Spanish, Post Office trips, Dollar Store Trips, trips to the grocery store to learn about healthy eating!  The experiences these two had was impressive and 100% enjoyed!

Homework came with the territory but these 2 handled it like champs.  Maybe we should be saying "Poor C and W"  because having a teacher/mom beside you while doing homework might not be the most enjoyable thing ever!!

Throughout the year, little photos would arrive in my email.  These photos brightened my day in so many ways!  Seeing that my little loves were learning, happy and loved made my heart happy on so many levels!

As their little brains began to fill with more and more knowledge, their desire to share their skills grew too!  Both my little loves braved the eyes of their little friends to read to the class!  Seeing this arrive in my email was not only a surprise but a shock!!  Wylie, I figured she would be first to do this but seeing Charlie do it too was exciting!  Both little loves are bright but sometimes the little boy blues take over with C and he decides sharing his learning can wait!!  I was so proud to see both of them felt confident enough and brave enough to read to their peers!

Perhaps one of my MOST FAVORITE pictures EVER of my little loves is from Dr. Seuss Day!  I love the happiness I can feel coming from this picture!  The giggles that are going on in this are heart warming and the smiles are priceless!

I love knowing that the good ol' fashion fun of school was still present for them.  Dress up days for holidays and special events was something they looked forward to!

Celebrating Birthday was not only important but a special day of happiness for these little loves!   Getting the pleasure of joining them for lunch was a treat I treasured!

And what Kindergarten experience wouldn't be complete without the Fantastic Fun Field Day provides!  These two were impressed and loved every single solitary minute of it!!

We were so proud of both Charlie and Wylie for being recognized as Terrific Kids!

Charlie's manners are music to my ears!  I am so thankful he is a bright young love with a realization for knowing that manners do matter!  Seeing him up on stage and being able to celebrate with him was a special time!  I am so grateful it was an honor he shared alone.  Being the oldest boy in a family of four kids can be taxing but he handles himself in a manner that makes not only his parents proud but his teachers too!

The year concluded with Wylie being chosen as Terrific Kid!  Despite a little mix up on the months, Wylie's recognition came and the day was filled with joy and pride for her!  She was so excited to know that her family was their to see her up on stage!  She is a little thinker and loves to learn!  I am so grateful that she has an instilled self drive to be a little learner!  We were so happy to celebrate that day with her!

As much as I didn't want the day to arrive, the end of Kindergarten finally did!
From the moment the program began to the final words of it's ending, my heart was filled with gratitude towards their teachers, excitement for their growth as students and sentimental thoughts of the 2 little loves that were practically born yesterday!
The program was just about the cutest thing we had ever seen!  Of course there were not many dry eyes in the room!!  However, I was happy to say, I survived it!!   Tears and all, it was a day I never want to forget!

And just like that, the school year ended.  As we look forward to summer, I am still a bit in shock over how quickly these babies are growing!  Each day they seem taller, smarter, more grown up and beginning new things!

Charlie and Wylie, I am so proud of you!  Please always know how loved you are and how proud everyone is of you!  Keep working hard each day you are at school and enjoy every minute of being little!  You make your daddy and I smile each and every day!  Congratulations on a wonderful year and here's to many, many more!!
