A Boy’s Get-a-Way

I am not quite sure who was more excited about the Friday night get-a-way … Charlie or Bubs?! 

These 2 handsome fellas left the comfort of home for a night to “rough” it in the woods with a dear ol’ friend… Uncle Kenny!  Together these 3 boys ate hot dogs by the fire, fished and some had some cold ones, went frog giggin and even rode the 4 wheeler!  To wrap it all up, Charlie was thrilled that they got to sleep outside in the tent! 

I don’t know the ins and outs of the night, but I know this morning when this precious little boy arrived home, he was smiling from ear to ear!  I have heard repeatedly today how much of a good time they had! 

Makes me smile to know that such sweet and unforgettable memories were made last night in the woods!
