My little momma,
Every second of time I spend with you, I see you growing and changing even more and more! This week of beach fun was no exception! Just like usual, I could expect to be awoken each morning to your sweet and precious face giving me priceless kisses to help wake me up. Your morning smile makes me smile no matter how early it may be!! And my friend, you love to rise with the roosters!!! This past week at Garden City, your day was completely made if you could swim in the pool without your floaties! You were so proud of yourself for learning to swim! And I can promise you that every second of the day, that is what you wanted to do- and you told me over and over and over!!! While you did enjoy the beach, you always seemed to have some sort of drama while we were digging our toes in the sand! From sunglasses to sand in your eyes to dirty boogie boards, it took a bit to make you ecstatic to be on the beach! You had turned into a fish and you wanted to swim!!!
You are so determined to be very independent! From dressing yourself, to washing your own hair, to trying to use your dive sticks underwater without my help, you are so strong willed and competitive! I love seeing the determination in you come out! It makes me so proud! And the competitive nature is totally from your father so we know you get that honest!!! I know if you really want to do something you are going to do it!!!
And I also know that as long as I live, I will think your little poochy stomach in a precious one piece bathing suit is absolutely adorable! The way you waddle around the sand so fast with your white hair blowing in the wind - I love love love it!!!
More than you will ever know, I love you little girl!
