Dear Charlie,

My precious Charlie,

To say you are full of life is an understatement!  To say you are full of energy is an even bigger understatement!  I don’t know where all that energy comes from but you sure put it to good use this past week while at Garden City!  While you were never the first to rise, you always greeted me with a “Good Morning Mom!”  even if it was almost 10.  Such a little young man!  You detested sunscreen but were so anxious to be outside.  You were always busy doing something!  Thanks to the house YaYa & PopPop rented, you had a wonderful dump truck to play with.  Thanks to Chris and Fran for thinking ahead and arming you with the “surf” board you used all week too!  You have no fear when it comes to sand- loving to be covered in it or roll around in it!  At one point you were trying to attempt to stand on your head in it!!  Just like life, the beach was not all roses for you!  There were moments of unhappiness but usually we could find a way to bring your spirits up!  The highlight of your week was getting to see the new Cars movie with “Ronnie Car” and Mater.  The Movie Fairy sent you a tacky tee just for the occasion!  You were so in love with it and even tried to hug it!!  Since receiving that shirt, you have LIVED in it!! 

I love every ounce of your little self!  You absolutely make my heart melt when you ask me to play with you or watch movies with you!  I love how active you are despite the fact that I become exhausted in the process!  I would never dream of changing one thing about you!  I will forever hold all the precious memories from our Garden City week in my heart!  Thankfully we have an overabundance of pictures to help you remember every detail too!
