Dear Bess,

Bessie Boo,  

You, my little one, have a way of recapturing my heart each and everyday!  You have been given a smile that can melt a heart so quickly and a spirit that is so easy to love!  This past week at Garden City, I can not count how many adorable smiles and precious moments you graced us with!  You heart is as big as the ocean and except for what your daddy and I call your “rattlesnake” moments, you are usually so happy and content.  Thankfully, you were a go with the flow child this past week at the beach.  You just wanted pigtails and a bathing suit and you were a happy girl!  You loved wearing your boogie board around your wrist and watching it get blown up into the air by the wind!  Since you are as tough as nails and fearless, you of course loved the ocean and giggled the most precious giggle when we would “ride” the waves together!!  You weren’t scared of sand and were perfectly content sitting in it, digging in it, being covered in it and eating it on your snacks!  You were as thick as a little thief with your cousin Mary Cam and started your morning by asking for her first thing and then remaining by her side throughout the day! 

I don’t think my camera could have snapped enough pictures of you and your precious hiney in a bathing suit.  Something about seeing you run as fast as your little legs will go towards the ocean completely makes me melt each and every time!!  I loved watching you enjoy being a beach baby this past week!  And even though you chose to rise with sun each day and never give your mommy a day to sleep in…. I would never in a million years trade your morning snuggles with me for anything!  Or actually – your new found obsession for our mornings was when I would “tuggle” your feet-  just like your daddy , you loved to have the bottoms of your feet rubbed.  So we tuggled-  not snuggled or tickled…but tuggled!
