Prepped and Ready!

Picture 009

The backpacks are loaded, the paperwork has been completed, the lunch boxes are packed and we have practiced for our first day of school!  This crew should be good to go!

This year there are many first when it comes to The Bailey Bunch attending preschool.  For starters, Baby Bess will be joining in on the fun!  If Sunday nursery is any indication of what could happen , don’t expect a glowing report from the home front!  She doesn’t seem to be particularly fond of the whole church/leaving her situation!  Secondly, this year our dear ol’ dad himself will handle ALL of the morning duties on school days!  Outfits, backpacks, loading up three hoodlums and HAIRBOWS- Bubs has a lot to accomplish before walking out of this door by 8:50!  Thankfully, Wylie finds it a morning requirement to clothe everyone so he should be set!  I just hope he can keep her from the pink flamingo dress that she feels must be worn on every occasion!

While Bess has no idea what is about to happen and how her little world is about to rocked upside down, the other 2 think they are going to church to play on the playground all day!

I do have my fingers crossed for a few (minor) things:

1- That Charlie won’t try to tinkle through the playground fence because he is allowed to in the backyard.

2- That Bess doesn’t head butt anyone in one of her fits of stubbornness and end up in the “isolation” corner.

3- That Wylie remembers she is NOT the teacher and doesn’t try to hoard the baby dolls or puzzle pieces from her classmates.

I can only hope for a good report this afternoon!

Have a good first day at preschool my sweet babies!

PS-  When I asked Bubba last night if he thought he would have time to snap a few photos this morning so I could capture my lost moment with the kids, he snickered and said “Are you serious?”  Of course I totally was but I told him I would settle for my practice shot with the loves we did yesterday before dinner!  I guess I can’t be too picky!

Does Wylie have a notebook in her hand and a pen??? So cute! I can't wait to hear all about their first day! Hopefully Charlie requested to go potty in the "potty" and not on the playground!
