Week 13 with Bailey Baby #4!

Today for the first time in what felt like forever, I heard one super sweet heartbeat! I am always so paranoid until that microphone thingy finds baby! I truly was convinced I would end up in an ultrasound room today but luckily Baby Bailey #4 cooperated and made himself/herself heard! From the sounds of things, this baby is a marathon runner or tumbler because the heart rate today was 170. Apparently, it will taper off or if you believe the old wives’ tales, this could be signs of a girl! Either way, the heart beat was strong which is all I could wish for!

Except for the few last jolts of nausea that seem to randomly appear, I think that part of the journey is over! My case of the sleepies is still in full force!!! I really think I could wake up only for meals and be perfectly happy heading right back to bed! This too shall pass but until it does my DVR list is getting longer by the minute!

I know the world (my sister included) thinks I am nuts BUT I had doctor's words today prove that these little “spasms” I have been feeling just quite possibly could be our sweet baby twisting and turning. It has only happened 4 times but I was informed each pregnancy means things happen earlier. I know it is insane and I told her that I knew it was insane, but, apparently it is not out of the realm of possibilities! So be it gas or muscle spasms, I am choosing to believe my 4 moments of “Hmmm, was that really something?” really were from my little love inside doing a flip or tumble!!

We head back next time for the “big” ultrasound! I will be a nervous wreck until then! Poor Bubs!
