Loving the Beach – Part 2

As the week with the family continued, I began to learn a few new things about my own kids. For starters, Wylie LOVES a ponytail. Sadly, she has hair like her daddy- fine and thin. So ponytails are a challenge, but she loves to rock what she can!

100_4945 I also discovered just how much Charlie loves “psketti”. Thanks to Granny’s homecookin, Charlie feasted on multiple bowls of “psketti” for several days! To say he was covered from head to toe by the end of the meal is such an understatement!

100_5044 Happy Baby Bess was usually content doing whatever. But she did take a special liking to her great grandfather’s styrafoam cooler! In and out, in and out! This was a good killer of minutes for Bess in the kitchen!

We were so happy to see Bubba arrive mid week for a few days of fun in the sun with the fam! Charlie and Bubs loves hitting the waves while Bubba made castles for Wylie. Lastly, Baby Bess took Bubs on long walks on the beach!

Charlie continued to have a love for sand and thought rolling in it was the best way to enjoy it!

Wylie’s beach moods differed from moment to moment. One moment she was all about the sand and ocean, the next, she was all about being prissy! (Love that hiney!)

100_4966 Baby Bess was here there and everywhere! Very independent and needing no help to do anything, she was determined and stubborn. Don’t know where in the world she could have gotten those traits from though!

But believe it or not, there is more Garden City Fun! Check back for the last installment of our week in the sun!

I love Wylie's pony tails- we are going to have to get that girl some hair spray and a teasing comb! I also love Bess's diaper cover!
