A Bailey Bunch Birthday!

Two years ago today, my world changed in the most magical way possible. Bubba and I welcomed Charlie and Wylie into the world at 7:47 and 7:48 am. It was a moment in time that I have frozen into my heart forever.

Happy Birthday to my sweet little loves!

Since our days are consumed by discussions revolving around Elmo, Ernie, Cookie and Abby, it was only fitting we throw a Sesame Street themed birthday party! Looking back, we probably could have just purchased these balloons for Charlie and he would have been happy! My ceiling remains a conglomeration of Sesame Street characters and helium filled balloons. We will probably be in the spirit for several days to come!

Who can resist a Sesame Street cupcake?

The treat bags for all our little friends!

Who would have thought this picture would be possible. We were able to successfully have all the kids sit on the couch for a group shot.

Thank you daddy for slaving over the grill for us!

After burgers and dogs, it was CAKE TIME!!!! Charlie had all eyes on his cake as it was brought to him!

Of course he ate an Ernie first. His favorite!

Yummo!

Wylie, the junk food junkie herself, inspected her cake for a split second before deciding it was safe to eat.

After receiving her seal of approval, she was all about this Elmo!

We all had such a good time and were showered with so many wonderful things from so many wonderful family members and friends!

Wylie loves her new Abby Cadabby tutu!

Charlie loved it too! He just found a better use for it!

Charlie also loved his new Choo Choo Train.

Wylie was anxious to try on her new set of pajamas and her new water shoes for this summer!

Charlie showed off his muscles by modeling his new swimmies for this summer!

Everyone was very gracious and gave Charlie and Wylie some wonderful things! We are so thankful!

By the time Charlie went to bed tonight, his cupcake count was 4. And he loved every bite of them! When else is it okay to eat 4 cupcakes in one day? Only on your birthday!
And so we begin what everyone calls the "Terrible Twos". I wonder what this upcoming year will bring! While I can not predict much, I feel sure and truly hope we can expect more laughs, more smiles, and more priceless memories.

Charlie and Wylie, to tell you we love you will never describe what our hearts feel for you both. Our love for you grows so much stronger each and everyday. You are gifts from heaven that we thank God for daily. You melt our hearts!
Happy Birthday Sweet Babies!

So sad we had to stay clear of the party due to tummy bugs! Yuck!
