"Ernie jump." This little 2 word sentence began it all. Dear ol' dad helping Ernie jump as Charlie stands alongside hysterically belly laughing. It was a good time for all.
But even more hysterical than seeing Ernie jump was when Dear ol' Dad helped Ernie and Elmo slide down the trampoline.
Well, if Ernie and Elmo can do it, so can Charlie. Without any shock, this was beyond the best! However, if you were the lucky person who had to hold the "slide" for Charlie, this was not so much fun! And this my friends, is where the life of the blue trampoline took a turn!
While we were thoroughly enjoying holding the "slide" for our precious first born, the "Go Go Go's" or stairs (in Charlie's world) worked SO much better! (Of course adult supervision was present at all times!!)
Just look at this face! Do I need to say any more?!
"One, Two, Go!"

"One, Two, Go!" (Charlie consistently leaves out Three, he is just so excited to do whatever adventure he is busy with!!)

And of course, Ernie gets a turn too!
Wylie had been a bystander at this event until she had seen her brother successfully climb up the "slide" and then breeze down it! So she climbed to the top (using the stairs) to observe the excitement! Cautious as usual!
Clearly, Charlie did not mind demonstrating his techniques to his sister!
So bless her heart, it took a while, but...
She made it up to the top only to enjoy the fastest slide ride ever!
In the world of Charlie, trampolines, oops, "slides", rock!!
And we're off!

I can hear Charlie laughing!!! I know if I heard hime laughing I would let most likely do whatever it was he wanted me to do! Always to hear a Charlie laugh! Love it!
