The Little Momma!

Many have not been fortunate enough to meet our newest family member, so allow me to introduce her. "Baby" is the very tolerant, flexible and durable love of The Little Momma, Wylie! These days, Wylie is my shadow and especially if I have Bess! Our Little Momma is SO observant and absolutely loves playing with "Baby"! I really do not exaggerate when I say Wylie does everything I do with Bess with "Baby"! I can already tell, Wylie is going to be an excellent mother!

Yum Yum! Who wants peas?

Yes, you are seeing correctly! "Baby" has suffered severe injuries lately. She is often missing 1 leg! Never to fear, it is quickly found and reattached! Clearly, her condition does not change the love Little Momma has for her!

Being a momma can be a messy job some days! This is the only thing Wylie can not take! Any mess is too much for her! My little momma is a little neat freak too!

Bless "Baby"!

Baby gets moved to the counter when Baby Bess gets fed. It is critical for Wylie to oversee my feeding Bess so she can make sure she has every technique down properly! Wouldn't you know it. She doesn't like for Baby's face to get dirty! She has to have her own rag to wipe down after each spoonful!

Our typical dinnertime look! Poor Bess. She has been booted from her Bumbo because of a handme down Cabbage Patch doll!

Good Mommas also prepare their children for the scary things in life! Before taking that first trip down the slide, our Little Momma whispers words of wisdom!

Feeding any baby can be a hit or miss situation some days! Some babies are just not that into butter as a meal!

However, where there is dinner, there is a furry friend ready to eat any scrap of food. Even butter!

Sometimes, when "Baby" is fussy, Wylie has to hold her to calm her down just so she can successfully feed her supper!

So tonight, after all the practice Wylie has been doing on "Baby", I let her try her skills out on the real deal! Poor Baby Bess! She takes it all in stride!

Everyone survived!

I love watching Wylie with "Baby". Through this precious 1 year old, I can see such a heart of compassion, tenderness, gentleness and love. "Baby" may be plastic and she may suffer injuries that cause her limbs to be disconnected, but "Baby" is one loved doll! Watching Wylie care for her doll in this way simply makes my heart smile!

Wylie has that feeding down, now she can take over the feeding of Bess. Bless Bess. What a good little mommy sweet Wylie will be. She does have a wonderful role model my friend!!!!

Wylie and Lucy need to play together! Lucy can teach her all about caring for babies, but it doesn't appear she needs any instruction. However, I do feel the need for you to purchase her a new doll. Don't get me wrong I love the red headed baby, but I do believe that doll is as old as we are. I know, I know that is what makes it even more special , but I still think we need an upgrade. Or maybe even just a friend for the red headed baby! Then Wylie can have her own little nursery.
