Happy Halloween

I don’t know if this day could have come fast enough for Charlie!  For several weeks now, C has been begging me to wear his costume around the house to play.  For fear that it would never be the same, I have had many convenient excuses as to why we could not play in his costume.  Today, he has practically been in it all day!  Thanks to a costume party at school and then trick or treating…this kid was on cloud nine!  

This year’s costumes were no brainers for this group.  Charlie was quick to inform us long ago he would be dressing up as Spiderman with Muscles,  Wylie wanted to be Barbie- which she really considers all princesses Barbies, and Bess wanted to be anything and everything she saw.  Thankfully she was easy to convince of a sweet buggy costume!  Ben…bless his heart, yet again, the child gets a hand-me-down!  And totally rocked it , I might add!  

We were so thankful to know that at any moment, Spiderman and his muscles could save us all!  Thankfully no ghosts or goblins got us!  But should they have…this one could have spit a web out quicker than you could blink to save the day!   (ps- this is his Muscle Move!)

Our little Glamour Shot was eager for her photo shoots for this festivity!  She even put on “chopstick” before her shoot to help her lips shine like Cinderella’s!  (And yes that was her actual quote!) 

Bess is in the deep deep DEEP throws of the terrible twos… her memory of this Halloween might involve a lot of tears!  She just couldn’t seem to find the joy!  Eventually she mustered up some happiness deep in her soul but whoa I wasn’t sure for a bit there!!  Still, she was the most adorable bumblebee I know!

And then there is my sweet little busy body of a baby boy!!  So excited to be a part of the action and thrilled he got to play with the pumpkins for a photo shoot!!  This was C’s outfit from his first Halloween and I couldn’t help but travel back down memory lane a bit!  I felt like I was looking back and little Charlie while holding Ben tonight!  He was quite content in his get up, even though it was about 5 sizes too big! 

It was a wonderful night!  Chilly weather and costumes these babies were thrilled to be in!  Now the real fun begins….playing in out costumes for all sorts of fun pretend events in our house!!  Love the creative minds and what they come up with!
