“BoBo” - a.k.a. Ben

I can still hear Wylie saying “Baby Baby Baby Bess” when she would refer to her new sister after Bess was born.  I loved that she had her own special and unique nickname for her sibling. 

Just like Wylie, Bess has adopted her own nickname for her new baby brother!  And in true Bess fashion, it is definitely original and creative!   Bess loves to do a roll call of our family members.  These days, this is how roll call sounds-  Mamma, Bubba, Cha-e , Wy and Bobo.  Yes, our dear sweet Bess has decided her younger brother should be referred to as “Bobo”  I am hoping this doesn’t stick because Bobo Bailey – ummm, sounds a little silly! 

Bess is completely enamored with Ben.  She has come in every morning once she gets up and tries so hard to put his pappy in his mouth.  She will go upstairs to get his Foo Foo even when she wasn’t asked to.  She stands next to his pack and play and just giggles at him.  Since she is obsessed with pappies, she thinks Ben is also.  Therefore, he has many a pappy thrown down to him from her little hands!  She means well, the little stinker! 

So far, one of Bess’ favorite things to do with Ben is get to “hold” him.  While she still needs to work on her gentle touching skills, I think she could sit beside this little boy all day long!  Lucky for us, Ben seems to be A-Okay with Bess and all her “love” for him!

No words can express how much I love all the babies in this house!  The memories are endless!  The love is endless!  The smiles on my face and the fullness of my heart-  endless also!  Thank the Lord above for all the miracles he has blessed me with!
