Let the little children come to me...
Luke 18:16
Today was a beautiful day! This morning, Bubba and I watched as Bess was prayed for and blessed during her beautiful baptism. The church was filled with the sounds of Christmas, the lights of the Christmas tree and the love of all our family and friends. This day was touching, tender, priceless and holy. Today Bess was sealed with the promise of God's love and grace. We are eternally grateful!

Bess was dressed in a priceless dress hand made by my Mamaw. Several family members have worn this including Wylie. It is a treasure. Having Mamaw be able to see a dress worn that she made when I was in high school strictly for this purpose has been a dream come true.

This day would not have been possible without the help of fantastic grandmothers! The food, desserts, extra help on the last minute Target runs and clean up was greatly appreciated!

Luckily Bess is blessed to be surrounded by loving family no matter where she turns. We always have great plans for these photo shoots but they NEVER seem to turn out as we plan. These are the best 2 of the fams I could get!

Where would our family be with out Mrs. Becky?! Bess spends most of her days with Becky. I happen to know all they do most of the day is give kisses back and forth because anytime Bess sees Becky she just opens her mouth up and slobbers one on her! We are so thankful for Becky and the love she pours on our children while we are away at work! It was such a special treat to have her join us today!

After our bellies were full, our sweet tooth had been satisfied and it was time for pajama bottoms and sweatshirts, a little love was shared between Bess and her favorite fan, Little Lulu!

Finally, while everything today was touching and beautiful, my heart absolutely melted when my dear and so incredibly talented yet very pregnant friend Lacey walked in with present! I had shown Lacey this chair that I had discovered and probably had talked way too much to her about how badly I wanted this chair but would never dream of purchasing it. I could not help but cry as she gave it to me! It is wonderful in everyway!

What a special day! I love that your Grandmother made her Baptism dress. That will be something you'll treasure forever. Bess is beautiful. I love her sweet smile.
Well I began to tear up at the start of this post cause I was thinking the same thing as we sat in church on Sunday with all the decorations and music- what a special time to be baptized! I really teared up when I read about the chair- Bess is such a special blessing and so she deserves a special chair!
