It was clear from the practice round that Wylie would be stealing anything Charlie had found and placed in his basket and taking it for her own basket. Charlie was just thrilled that easter eggs were close enough to "bah" or balls. You can throw them, shake them, eat them... didn't matter to him- they were "bahs". So after we had our game faces on, we headed to the farm.
After the hayride, all the little ones were set free to go roam the vast farmland in hunt of the many treat filled easter eggs. Look at the crowd go...

You may ask yourself, "Where are Charlie and Wylie in this picture?" The answer would be... not in the mix! Once they discovered their first egg or two, they said to heck with hunting and sat down to enjoy their 2 little eggs. Yes folks, we came to the hunt bringing 24 easter eggs and we left with an astonishing 5! But my how much fun those 5 turned out to be!
Charlie was chill all afternoon after he started wearing Bubba's hat to keep the sun from his eyes. He never once tried to take it off! He was a kind brother and allowed Wylie to empty his easter egg stash into her basket many times but only because he had 2 eggs in his hands to shake and one was a T Rex easter egg! Very boy! He was as happy as a clam!
I found one!!!
And another one!

Got my 2! I am good to go!
Wylie was very busy with her 3 eggs and 1 Tootsie Roll! Once she found 1 egg, the hunt was over! Thanks to dear ol' dad, she ended up with 2 additional eggs. She spent her time at the hunt sitting in the grass taking the eggs out of the basket and placing them right back in the basket! She was very focused and clearly did not want to be bothered throughout the process! She had everything very organized and just so each and every time!!

Look at the concentration on this face!

Head over there dad! Follow that crowd!

In and out! In and out! That is how you play the easter egg game!
We had a wonderful time hunting easter eggs today! We can't wait until next weekend so we can do this all over again!

Precious!!! I love the concentration on Wylie's face. She was focused. Charlie looked like such a big boy in his daddy's hat. Can't wait until next weekend for the Easter Egg hunt!!!
I love it! They are too cute! Wylie may look just like Bubba, but it sounds like she is taking after you with her organizing and wanting everything just so! I also love your hair! See you soon.
