Come See Me here we come!

Congratulations to the BEST FESTIVAL CHAIR and Daddy ever!!!! The Bailey Bunch began their Thursday morning at the crack of dawn today! We were all up and at em this morning at 6:30! Which for mom is nothing out of the ordinary but for sleepy heads Charlie and Wylie, this was just like Christmas morning! Charlie and Wylie attended their first Come See Me unveiling breakfast! We were all there to see Daddy give his speech and unveil the 2009 Come See Me logo. Daddy did so good and he even gave a shout out to Charlie and Wylie... of course! We are all so excited about all the fun things we are going to get to do at Come See Me this spring! The highlight of the morning was Glen and Glenda! Charlie was all about the frogs! So of course, a family photo was required to mark this grand event! I thought for anyone wanting to travel down memory lane with us I would include the photo of Charlie and Wylie from last year! Hope everyone is gearing up and planning on heading to Rock Thrill for the big FIREWORKS and festivities!

Can you even take this! Look at Wylie's legs! Remember we called her petite!! And Chilled Out Charlie Rut... just pimpin!

Charlie's First Haircut!

We had waited until we could wait no longer! Although we found the mullet just as precious as could be, and felt strongly that Charlie could help bring the fad back... I did realize how badly Charlie was in need of a haircut! So we loaded the whole family up for the monumental event! After flirting with the other ladies in the salon, Charlie quickly let us know that he would not be sitting in the chair by himself. So thanks to a Dum-Dum and I was able to hold him still enough so he got an adorable first haircut! I can't believe how much older it made him look! He must know he looks extra handsome though because we haven't seen Charlie in a mood like he was in after the big cut in a while! No lie when I tell you he beemed from ear to ear all evening long! Melt my heart!!!

Hmmm, this looks like it could be a fun new place! Lots of ladies here! Plenty for me to pick from!

I will not be sitting by myself! Think again woman!

Getting my do ready for all you lovely ladies out there!

Goodbye Mullet. Hello Ladies!

Hmph, no attention on me today. Have we forgotten Bald is Beautiful?!

The final product! Ladies to reach me call 1-800- NEW- HAIR, operators will be standing by!

Sunday Afternoons

For the past 2 weeks, Charlie, Wylie and I have loved playing outside in the sunny weather! Last week Charlie and Wylie discovered ducks! Charlie was completely mesmerized by the ducks! He stared at them and gently walked behind them eating the bread that was suppose to be their afternoon snack! Wylie think the ducks are hysterical and laughs when you throw the bread to them. After having so much fun last weekend, we invited the Cousins to come to town and headed back to the ducks for more today and them some!!

Oh, if my daddy were here, we would be talking to me about good stances on shooting little ducks like you!

I'm only eating this because that little duck swam away from me! Blame him!

This one really liked us!

More bread please!!

Then it was on to the "Clifford" park as Ella would say! Charlie and Wylie thought this was even better than the ducks! Having Cousin Ella and Cousin LuLu in town made this an extra fun Sunday afternoon of playing!

Man, this green tube rocks!

This is my happy place!

Take note of the gentle tug Charlie gave Wylie here to get her to go down at the same time as him!

Sweet Lulu and Wylie!

Watch out! Here I come!

Can't wait for next Sunday! Hope the weather is sunny again!

And A Good Time Was Had By All!

Charlie and Wylie could not have asked for a better 1st birthday bash! Our weekend was filled with lots of priceless memories, lots of pictures and lots of love! They have had a WONDERFUL time playing with all their new goodies and eating left over cake! Family, Friends, Food and Fun made this 1st Birthday Bash for Charlie & Wylie so special. Thank you to all who joined in our fun this weekend! Here are few "highlights" from this weekend's events!

The cake before Charlie...Charlie's first bite of his birthday cake!

Happy Birthday!

Where do Bubba and I find words perfect enough to describe this past year? As I sit here, no words will ever be able to sum up all the joy, happiness and memories Charlie and Wylie has given us. Never in our wildest dreams could we have prayed for two more perfect blessings to enter our hearts! Before we officially met Charlie and Wylie I fell in love with this verse: Children are a gift for the Lord. They are a reward from him. Psalm 127:3. I know those are the perfect words for this special day!

Love at first sight!

The Birthday Babies!

I'm the handsome Birthday Boy!

I'm the pretty Birthday Girl!

Happy Birthday Charlie and Wylie! We love you more than you know! We pray for you more smiles, laughter, hugs and kisses in the coming year! Forever and ever!

Come On Ride the Train!

Well, it wasn't a sleeping bag Charlie and Wylie boarded this week for entertainment! As a welcome to the world present, Charlie and Wylie got this wonderful train last year! It has taken us a while, but we are now really able to enjoy this fantastically fun outside toy! So, this week, we decked ourselves in our winter gear and headed out for a bit of fresh air! For ONE HOUR I pulled my little loves in a circle around our small backyard! They enjoyed every single minute of it! If I even dared to stop, Charlie would bang the front of the train and Wylie would wine and shake her body like she could make the train move on her own! So, it looks like I am in for many more afternoons of being a conductor on the Bailey Express!

Okay Mom! We're ready. Let's see what this is all about!

I may be in the second seat, but I am just going to peak and make sure you aren't getting any unfair advantages up there in the front!

Never would we EVER leave Baby Hank out of the fun! He is just keeping the seat warm until Baby Bailey can ride!

It is just amazing that I can look so adorable anywhere I am isn't it?

Hmmm.... you are sitting down snapping pictures and I am in here. Do you think there is something wrong with this picture?! Come on lady, let's get a move on it!

Don't try lying to me! There is not a flat tire! You can snap pictures later!

But why???? I just wanted to ride a little longer!!!

This blog post is dedicated by Charlie and Wylie to Uncle Jeffery and his new job working on the Choo Choo trains! We are so proud of Uncle Jeffery but we sure do think our train is going to be a lot more fun than his!

And We're Off...

Watch out world... everyone at this house is on the move! For about a week, Charlie has really been practicing his steps so he could get this whole walking thing down! This weekend, he has successfully taken enough steps in a row to be considered a walker! His little face is so precious everytime he is able to walk a "big" distance. He looks so proud of himself! This past week , Charlie had been a fan of 5 or less steps but this weekend, we have walked the length of rooms and most recently the upstairs hallway to get to the bathtub! At times, he almost looks as if he is doing one of his daddy's crazy dance moves as he tries to keep his balance! One important walking factor is Charlie seems to be motivated to walk towards something- remotes, phones, food or his drum sticks are sure bets!

Hold on mom, I have to get ready! Look at this hair-do ladies, this walking stuff has messed up my do!

No I am not about to do a dip to the Electric Slide. I AM trying so hard to get to that dog food though!

Some might call me gifted at this point. Yes, I can walk with sippy cups too! Brilliant!

YES! Buns of Steel worked for me! Who needs pajamas anyway?!

Did you see me Sissy?! Did you see me?! Did I do good?!

Hugs for Brother Bear! You did it! I am so proud of you! This is going to be so much fun!

And so... now our household officially has 2 busy little walkers to brighten our days with!
