We will miss you Daddy! See ya in a week!
Crazy that it is time to celebrate again …. 9 years ago today, was one of the best days!
I was all dolled up…
The flowers were ready…
The cake had been delivered…
The groom was looking strapping and handsome…
And we, along with family and friends, were anxious to celebrate and party!
Love, it has been a ride filled with lots of good memories, smiles, laughs and but most importantly happiness and joy! I love you Lots and Lots!!!!! Thank you for 9 wonderful years…and here’s to many more Anny Day celebrations and memories!
When there’s something strange…
in your neighborhood…
Who ya goona call?
Bailey Busters!
Friends, there is rarely a moment of dullness around here! This is just another example of an after bathtime activity these three little loves found for themselves!
Bless ‘Em!
In honor of the superhero dad we think you are and the zoo keeper you might at times feel like you are ….
With every ounce of our being, with every fiber of our souls, we LOVE you Dada !!!
Thank you for being a wonderful daddy and fantastic hubby!
We love you Lots and Lots!

So Bubs and I were taken back to some ol’ stompin grounds this week as the girls participated in NWHS Cheer Camp! We couldn’t help but have a few walks down memory lane as we graced the school grounds of NWHS!
While the girls were THRILLED to begin the camp, don’t hold your breath for a performance from them! My two little loves did very little to “showcase” their cheer skills! But, hey, it was still adorable and I still took pictures of them standing completely still on a mat!
To be honest, I think my loves found 2 pretty cheerleaders that would cater to their every desire and just had fun eating popsicles this week! But, hey, I was good with that!
Tonight we arrived to see them “warming up” for their performances. Notice mine are not exactly facing the direction they should be to watch the cheerleaders help them with their moves! Nope, they made up their own!
As we waited for the big performance, our future cheerleaders sat along the sidelines! I think this was Bess’ new best friend! I wish I knew her name because she was a saint to deal with Bess the Hysterical Crying Machine each day!
And then it was Cheer Time! Wylie was truly beaming from ear to ear and spotted our family in the crowd and waved (and waved and waved and waved…literally) through the entire performance! She did bob her knee a few times to the music but that was it! According to her, she “shook her booty”!
(Just a wavin!)
(Spotted us again!)
Bess did warm up to the idea of the whole showcase thing and clap a few times but she then began watching those around her and was a bit distracted! Again, she can do absolutely nothing and I still think she is adorable…such a sentimental mom!
(Looking adorable but not cheering! Oh well! )
And seeing as how we were in the spirit of cheerleading, my mom took the opportunity to pose our superstars in true cheer fashion!
We have a year to practice before next summer! All you expert cheerleading aunts better get your moves and pom poms ready, these girls need some guidance and it surely won’t be coming from their momma!!!
I am not sure who was more excited about our Friday Family Fun Day…Bubs and I or the kids?! We had been talking up our train ride with Thomas for quite some time! And finally, the day arrived and it was every bit as wonderful as we could have hoped!
Before we rode Thomas, we had a few minutes to kill! Luckily there was PLENTY to see and do to keep our little ones occupied!
But soon enough, Thomas pulled into the station!
The ride was great! Wy did NOT care for the surprise Cowboys and Indians that raided the train cars, but other than that, our crew was good to go!
Next stop… rides! Charlie was absolutely beside himself about going on rides! So rides this family did until every last heart was complete!
One thing we learned on this trip…Charlie LOVES a ferris wheel! His mother does not! However, for the good of the group and for the smiles of my son, I rode it not once but twice!!! I was so anxious to get off that thing! Who knew how high up those things were! Down on land, they look doable, up at the top, I was praying for the ride to be over!
Another hit of the day was the petting zoo where the animals just seemed to fine and dandy roaming around! Our little loves were so excited to play with the baby goats roaming around the paths! They also thought feeding the animals out of ice cream cones was fun too!
But what says a day at Tweetsie better than ice cream cones and cotton candy?! To finish our day, this was the final prize!
I am so thankful for our Family Fun day! I hate sweet Bennie couldn’t join us…I suppose that means we will just have to go back!
Until next time Tweetsie…
Hard to believe it is summer and the season of heat and sunshine is upon us! In my mind, there are some essential must haves!
Number 1: You can NEVER have or eat to many popsicles! (Wylie just might turn into one by the end up of summer at the rate she is going!)
Number 2: The cheap-o pool works just as well when the sun is hot and the skies are clear! What backyard is complete without one of these beauties ?!
Number 3: Wrapping in up a fresh towel and just sitting after a hard day of summertime play is sometimes were the most precious little smiles come out! And where I can see that I did a successful job of tiring my little loves out!
Number 4: You can NEVER, EVER, EVER have too many goggles! They magically grow legs and walk away anyhow so you might as well stock up!
Number 5: An instant time filler and “play pen” for an active on the go toddler can easily be found in Rubbermaid! How happy is this child to have his own “box” to play in!
Number 6: One can never have too many hats! We believe around here that many are required to fit the many moods a little love might encounter throughout the day!
Number 7: Posing is still important in the summertime! Thanks to my daughter who was clearly trained at Glamour Shots I will have a lot of sunny pictures like this!
And finally, Number 8: Wherever you go, whatever location your might be in, you MUST have a bag of cookies for our real life Cookie Monster! Your day will be more pleasant, your afternoon will be more happier and your little love will be totally content!
We all scream for ice cream!
Bess’ Birthday Celebration was a HUGE success! This little girl had one beautiful day for a beautiful party!
We are so thankful to all our family and friends who surrounded Bess this weekend to celebrate her Ice Cream Cone Birthday! Bess had a wonderful time and had a gorgeous smile on her face every minute of her special day!
I thought Bess working so hard to say “3” with her fingers was beyond precious! She worked so hard…but she finally got it! (somewhat!)
The house was decked in pinks, sprinkles, and of course ICE CREAM!
“Pin-yan-na” time was a hit! Although we had some good swings, Sir Charles ended up being the breaker of the pinata! The crowd darted quickly and immediately hoarded their candy!
Charlie snuck off to tuck his loot in his pillowcase and Uncle Jeffery did his best to entertain the crowd!
But the bellies were grumbling, so cake and ice cream time it was!
Who could resist a bowl of yummy ice cream on a June afternoon?! No one in this crowd! I honestly think the ice cream sat out for about 2 hours and I am uncertain but I can almost bet these little kiddos were not the only ones who had 2nds and 3rds!
We are so thankful for all the friends and family who showered our little love with wonderful treats! Bess is one lucky little girl!
But with the Gamecocks on TV and a house full of boys who couldn’t take their eyes off the screen, the party continued! What better way to celebrate a birthday and a Gamecock win than by throwing on your sassiest Dora outfit and boogying down!
Throw in the mix a very well behaved newborn , some umbrella strollers and a couple dozen baby dolls and these kiddos were just as happy to have the party continue!
Bessie Boo, your daddy and I are completely and madly in love with you! You have us both wrapped tightly around that precious finger of yours! We are so thankful for you and all the joy and smiles you bring to our days! Happy Birthday sweet girl!
