A Belated Birthday Present!

Look at the fun and excitement that arrived on our back door step yesterday afternoon! Aunt Amy sent us a Ball Pit School Bus! Take a look at the beauty before two little critters spotted it! A true beuty isn't it! After dear ol' dad used his set of healthy lungs to blow this contraption up, the fun began! Needless to say, this belated birthday surprise is a hit! Charlie is typical boy- ripping off the steering wheel and refusing to use the door while Wylie finds it all a bit too messy and thinks all the balls are better suited for outside the pit on the carpet. She spends her time removing them while Charlie spends his time tossing the balls at her head! A lively crowd the Bailey Bunch is!

Don't be fooled... this is the calm before the ball pit storm began! Note, steering wheel still installed properly at this point!

OH! What fun I am going to have here! I am going for the innocent and cute look here! Really... I am thinking how these soft balls won't hurt a bit when you are whopped over the head with them!

A clean bus is a happy bus! Messes belong outside boys!

Doors are for girls! Real men climb through windows!

Girls are better drivers anyway. I think this seat belongs to me!

Caught in the act showing a little bit of brotherly "love"!!!

Thank you Auntie Amy for our ball pit! We love it! Can't wait for Ella and Lulu to come play in it with us!

LEAPING LIZARDS!!!

Charlie and Wylie had the time of their lives this weekend. Cousin Ella and Cousin Lucy had birthday parties! It is so hard to believe Ella is 4 and Little Lulu is 2! Our weekend consisted of plenty of birthday cake and fun toys to play on! We traveled to Columbia Saturday for Charlie and Wylie to go to Leaping Lizards in Columbia for Ella's Princess Party! I have never seen 2 one year olds play so hard! They were both all over the place and into everything! We will certainly be making some trips there this summer!

For Charlie, the highlight of Leaping Lizards was the tunnel and giant slide! He did his precious Charlie laugh the whole time and never let on that he had only had a 45 minute nap that day! He was by all definitions a "busy boy" Saturday! In true Charlie fashion, he found something to push! The kitchen area was a huge hit for both Charlie and Wylie- although the way they played with the items of the kitchen area was SO different. Charlie just wanted to push it all around and move it from place to place! Just call this my tunnel of love!

Move out of my way ladies! I am a man on a mission!

Slides Rock!

Wylie was her usual detailed self at Leaping Lizards! She dabbled in the tunnels and took a ride down the slide here and there. The highlight of the birthday party was the kitchen and baby area! She was extremely focused on loading and unloading the shopping cart (when Charlie wasn't pushing it around). Wylie also made herself quite comfortable in the baby crib. She sat for a good while just soaking in the scenery then played with Lulu to prepare for the newest Bailey baby to arrive! She wasn't too keen on the inflatable toyland they had. Bless her heart, her little legs kept getting trapped along the sides. Can't imagine why since they are so slim and trim! (But adorable!)

Not sure what this is all about but I think I like it!

All this food and you can't even eat it?! What's that about?!

A new baby!? I thought I was the baby around here?

Just so everyone can enjoy how much fun Charlie and Wylie had, here are a couple random photos that were captured during our time at Leaping Lizards!

Mom, you geared up for Round 2 yet!

So you mean, they are getting ANOTHER crib for our house! I get to keep mine don't I?!

So it is a dinosaur and not a white stallion. I am still a prince whisking you off your feet aren't I?

I know Charlie, I couldn't believe her either. I just wasn't expecting anyone so soon ! Don't turn away! Let's talk about this! I think we might need to prepare for some changes!

Oh! I remember that stuff! Think I'll get a hunk of cake before the crowd dives in!

Careful ladies! It's a jungle in here!
