Charlie and Wylie React to the News!

What do Charlie and Wylie think of the latest Bailey news? Well, of course, Charlie was happy about the news as expected. He simply gave us his big ol' grin and smiled for a bit. Once we really got him going about the news, he closed his eyes and laughed pretty hard. Not sure if he was thinking- "Yeah, you are crazy but what fun it will be" or if he was thinking "Oooh, I hope it is a girl so I can be the only boy in the house!"

So what did dear ol' Priss Pot think? To be honest, she ignored the news for quite some time. You can see from the pictures, she was more interested in getting her shampoo back from Brother Bear than dealing with the latest newsflash. After settling the shampoo issue and regaining Wylie's attention, the news was once again given to her. I bet she had only one thought running through her head - " Hope it is a boy so another princess doesn't come along and expect me to share my daddy!" All in all, Wylie ended up putting on a good smile! Although, I am not sure if she was smiling over the news or the shampoo bottle which really was a HUGE deal to her at the time!

Our house couldn't be happier about our news! We are looking forward to our newest family member this summer!

SURPRISE!!!

You are correct! If you have not already heard, Baby Bailey #3 is due in June 2009! It was quite a shock for Bubba and I to learn of this pregnancy! However, we are BEYOND THRILLED and can not wait to meet the newest member of our family!

We went for an ultrasound today and everything was perfect! Our little "gummy bear" was just as happy as could be! The heart rate sounded great and it was an all around wonderful ultrasound report! The good reports didn't stop there. My doctor gave me great news by saying I would not be high risk this time! YEAH!

My "baby daddy" is already thinking all this news through. But, for all those wondering, there is no mini van in the Bailey future! Good thing, we just moved into this house!

We feel so blessed and already love this baby beyond words! There is no better surprise we could have received!

Happy Halloween

Charlie and Wylie have been celebrating Halloween since their costumes arrived in the mail! I couldn't resist seeing them dressed up in their adorable suits! We had to celebrate on several occassions to make sure we got our moneys worth out of them!

Charlie was his usual happy and content self in his costume. He didn't mind the footsies or the head piece. He was happy as could be in the costume! His latest discovery has been how to shake his head back and forth like he is saying "No" , so many times his face was unable to be seen ! (Note the adorable family pic where his face is covered!)

Wylie on the other hand was not as impressed by the idea of a Halloween costume! She really didn't care for it! Her facial expressions always seemed to be telling us how much she really disliked the whole contraption she was in! Normally, our very active and busy little bee became very still and upset when she was in her suit! She seemed to do much better without the head piece on but it was so adorable, we just had to grin and bear it for a while! She looked like she really had words she would have liked to say to us!

Bubba and I learned one thing from our first Halloween as parents: Getting decent pictures of two babies in costumes is impossible! Take what you can get!
